    How does it work?

    Mode Rideshare is tailored just for rideshare drivers, featuring an All-Inclusive flexible Rental plan to fit your needs.

    No matter which plan you choose, Mode Rideshare takes care of everything, including insurance, servicing, registration, and maintenance.

    How do I sign up?

    Getting started with Mode Rideshare couldn’t be easier! Just click on the “APPLY NOW” button above and fill out the form. We will contact you to discuss your needs and help you choose the perfect car for your rideshare journey. After that, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule an appointment at our Head Office in Auckland, where you can complete the sign-up process and pick up your car.

    Once everything’s finalized, you'll be all set to take your car and hit the road with confidence!

    What is included in the weekly fee?

    Mode Rideshare simplifies car rental for rideshare drivers by providing a comprehensive solution that helps them earn more, spend less, and worry less—all for a convenient weekly payment.

    This weekly fee not only covers the cost of your vehicle, but it also includes all the essential expenses of owning and operating a rideshare car. This means you’ll have coverage for registration, specialized damage and loss protection, scheduled maintenance, ongoing items like replacement tires and brakes, 24/7 roadside assistance, access to an Uber-approved courtesy car if your vehicle is damaged or requires warranty repairs, along with other exclusive benefits for Mode Rideshare drivers.

    Are there any additional costs?

    Yes, aside from the weekly rental fee, you are responsible for:

    • Charging costs (EV only)

    • Road User Charges (RUC) – RUC is a prepay system that must be kept up to date at all times while the vehicle is in use.

    Is a Bond required?

    Yes, there is a fully-refundable bond required to secure a vehicle.

    From $500 Bond for standard Hybrid vehicle

    From $1,500 Bond for an EV vehicle.

    Minimum terms

    Minimum term for Hybrid Rental is 2 weeks

    Minimum term for EV Rental is also 2 weeks

    Minimum term for Rent-to-Own is 12 months

    Do I need to arrange my own insurance?

    No, Mode Rideshare provide comprehensive commercial insurance included in the price

    What documents do I need to sign up?

    To sign up, you’ll need to provide:

    • A valid driver's license (front and back) with Class 1 and P endorsement

    • P endorsement

    • Your preferred City for vehicle collection

    • Bank Account details

    • Bond payment
